200ml fresh lemon juice
500g granulated sugar

For the Drink (makes 850ml, enough for 10)

Method

To prepare the Citrus Syrup: Put every ingredients inside a saucepan, bring to a light boil, mixing so the sugar melts. After that, take off the heat and let it to cool fully. Decant into an sealable bottle, seal and refrigerate it in the fridge, it will last for around a month.

For the Premix: Combine every spirits and syrup into one sizeable container, allow it to infuse for an hour, then filter it preferably using muslin, so it's fully clarified.

For serving: Measure 85ml from the premix into a cocktail shaker containing ice, gently stirring lightly for about 60 seconds to cool it down. Filter to a frosted cocktail glass or a similar vessel, garnish with a few cranberries and complete it with a quick spritz of mandarin oil over the drink.
